Throughout the whole life starting from birth, a person learns something – expresses emotions, desires, walking, talking, reading, writing, solving problems, etc., receives pre-school education, then goes to school, receives higher education, professional and additional education. Education of Spanish speaking students is a process characteristic of an individual throughout the entire period of active social life, and as such, it takes place in a variety of forms.

Doing a modern education review, it should be noted that at present, the functions of education, schools, and the professional status of a teacher are becoming more complicated under the influence of changes in society. First of all, it’s the new conditions associated with changes in education and the school, for example, as well as the appearance of custom essay writing service which helps the student to cope with their tasks (write papers and essays). These changes put forward new requirements, and the key competencies of teachers and students are formulated as an answer to these requirements.

Since the information society imposes higher requirements on the entire education system, including all its stages in modern education, it is necessary to ensure the transition to fundamental education – a basis that will subsequently allow varying activities, changing professions, and improving qualifications depending on the interests of the individual. In addition, the formation of the electronic literacy of a person, the development of computer technology is simply necessary.

In the context of modern education, the activity-oriented character becomes the most relevant and is the key to improving the effectiveness of education, since “abilities manifest and develop in activities.” At the same time, the personal, social, cognitive development of students is determined by the nature of the organization of their activities, primarily educational. The transition to a personality-oriented and competency-based model is relevant. The implementation of a personality-oriented model in Grafemas has positive, rather high results.

Indeed, a creative, constantly self-improving teacher easily differentiates the content of educational tasks (by the level of creativit, by the level of difficulty, by volume), taking into account the age characteristics and inclinations of students. Also, he uses various technologies of the form of classes to enhance learning activities, health saving technologies in the learning process. In addition, modern literature review, research, and design activities in all academic disciplines are being successfully implemented. To ensure an individual trajectory for the development of students, a specialized community for Spanish speaking students – Grafemas – has been introduced.

The student’s results are actions (skills) for the use of knowledge in the course of solving problems (personal, meta-subject, subject). If the priority of society and the education system is the ability of young people who enter into life to independently solve new, yet unknown tasks that they face, then the result of education is “measured” by experience in solving such problems.

In our opinion, an important result is a personal knowledge, which should be brought out by the student himself. All of us are aware that students nowadays can find the answer to such questions like ‘what language do they speak in Peru?’, ‘what language is spoken in Cuba?’ or ‘what countries speak Spanish?’. Here, the teacher acts only as a mentor who teaches to acquire knowledge, apply it in various life situations, creating problem situations in the form of educational tasks, encouraging the student to independently search for solutions. The formation of personal knowledge must begin with an interested attitude to the subject of cognition, motivation for success, in addition, it is necessary to take into account the individual characteristics and capabilities of the student in the process of cognition. The most effective method for the formation of personal knowledge is the creation of a problematic situation in the form of an educational task that arouses the student’s interest, involving him in an independent search for solutions, the search for new information – knowledge acquisition.

The quality of education is not reduced to the individual properties of an object but expresses an integral characteristic of the functional unity of its essential properties. The internal basis of the quality of education is the degree to which the needs and expectations (requests) of the state, parents, and children are met, as well as level of achievement of goals by education and compliance with certain standards. The family (as a social institution of the state) and the state itself are interested in high-quality education. To satisfy this order, it is necessary, first of all, to form such basic qualities as self-realization, the ability to solve problems, adaptability, socialization, citizenship, tolerance, a dialogue of cultures, cultural identity, spirituality. Forming the basic qualities, we thereby develop the necessary competencies of the leading ideas of education (subjectivity, dialogicity, personal knowledge) and meta-subject competences (competences in solving problems, cognitiveness, communicativeness, axiological, civic stance, cultural studies) that a student must learn to master in order to achieve high personal, meta-subject and subject results.

The rapid development of the information society, the transition to fundamental education, the development of a “multidimensional person” nevertheless is in conflict with reality. The task of forming a comprehensively developed personality, the need for which the information society is experiencing, is not fully realized. Only a certain percentage of students know how to read literature like a professor and show the ability to plan. Self-control, self-esteem, correction, in some cases, are inactive, not conscious. In some cases, there is a lack of vital ability for self-development, self-realization – yet, some students are less passive and do exhibit the character of reproductive capacity.

Thus, self-improvement for Spanish speaking students is the way to achieve the goal set for society and the individual. Not conducting an old strict way of controlling students’ academic performance like literature exams or different kinds of essays is a new way. This is the modern way of education that is presented at Grafemas – our community for Spanish speaking students.
